Room 17: The XVIth century painting in Bologna and Romagna
This room is dedicated to painting made in Emilia Romagna during the 1500s.
Here can be seen the Madonna with Child and the Young St. John with the saints Sebastian, Bernardinus, Francis and George, by Giacomo and Giulio Francia, Francesco's sons and o the opposite wall the Deposition, a masterpiece by Nicolò Pisano, tuscan artist working in Ferrara, and the small Shepherds' Adoration by Ludovico Mazzolino.
